Ambarella
Ambarella (Spondias dulcis), commonly known as “Vietnamese hog plum”, is a tropical fruit widely cultivated in the Mekong Delta, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, and Ben Tre provinces. The fruit has a smooth green skin, crunchy flesh, and a mildly sour flavor that becomes sweeter as it ripens.
There are several varieties of ambarella in Vietnam such as Thai ambarella, local ambarella, and baby ambarella, each offering a different level of crunch and acidity.
Thanks to careful cultivation and harvesting practices, Vietnamese ambarella retains its freshness and crispness – making it ideal for export.
Rich in vitamin C, fiber, and minerals, ambarella is not only consumed fresh but also processed into pickles, jams, and beverages.
At AGOFRUIT, we take pride in exporting premium-grade ambarella that meets international standards, delivering the unique tropical taste of Vietnam to global markets like India, the Middle East, and Asia.
